This piece is one of the series "Palace Museum Collected Chinese Paintings Reproduced on Hand Crafted Silk Fans".
Also collected by Palace Museum of China, this national treasure “A Thousand Miles of Mountains and Rivers” is the only existing work of the renowned Song Dynasty painter Wang, Ximeng. It belongs to a special school of painting which uses the Green paint profusely. Among the existing works of such style, this piece is unsurpassable.
 
        此件拍品为“故宫藏画系列真丝团扇”之一，名为《千里江山图》。故宫博物院珍藏的《千里江山图》卷，是北宋画家王希孟传世的唯一作品。在设色和用笔上，千里江山图继承了传统的“青绿法”，即以石青、石绿等矿物质为主要颜料，敷色夸张，具有一定的装饰性，被称为“青绿山水”。从目前存世的青绿山水作品看，尚无一件可以超越《千里江山图》卷。
