Ru Ware is a famous and extremely rare type of Chinese pottery from the Song dynasty, produced for the imperial court for a brief period around 1100 AD. Fewer than 100 complete pieces survive. Dongdao Ru Ware is based on the traditional esthetic theories of Ru Kiln in North Song Dynasty, yet applies the modern heating techniques to overcome difficulties in processes to create the unique innovative super quality of contemporary Ru Kiln with the imperial nobility of Ru Kiln of Song Dynasty.
*Color: Sky cyan: light blue just like “the cyan sky after rain”, with glazed matte.
*Pattern: A golden dragon on the center of container top
